​Every January, Alzheimer’s Awareness Month shines a spotlight on the growing impact of dementia. By 2030, almost 1 million Canadians will live with dementia. In Quebec, more than 147,000 people are currently living with dementia—a figure expected to surge to 360,000 by 2050.

 

A dementia diagnosis can feel overwhelming, bringing significant challenges for both individuals and their families. However, with the right support and resources, it is possible to find moments of joy, meaning, and connection throughout the dementia journey.
